So if you're brand new to website design, this probably is the best route for you to take, but if you have any experience feel free to follow that path and not go along with the google pages. So to start open up your webbrowser and go to pages.google.com
If you don't already have a gmail account, make sure you click on the No Gmail Account? Sign Up Link, and follow through the menus.
So when the first page you're going to come to is this. I've broken down what each of these elements represents.
- This is your new google url, it's what you'll want to tell your friends to type into their browsers to see your site!
- This is where you can you create multiple pages, sadly you can't delete your existing home page but it is a great resource for beginers because it allows them to edit lots of things when it comes to the look of their home page, this is also where you add new pages.
- This is where you'll be uploading your files with.
- This is just another way to create a new site.
Alright, so you got all of that? Well let's get started.
Hit the upload button and find that comic that we created earlier, here's where we'll be uploading it.
So the next step is very easy, just go through and add as much or as little text as you'd like, I chose just a simple title at the top and hit the image button allowing me to insert my comic.
In order to get to this page, hit the Change Look button on the top right corner, this will pull up a full page of syles, for my site I like the white, plain paper, found at the bottom, I know that I want it so I'll just click on it, and presto.
Next step is to hit the Publish Button and next thing you know...
